Our Story

Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home was founded by Scott Conklin, a lifelong Eastern Dutchess County resident in 2012. For nearly 148 years the funeral business has remained steadfast at the intersection of Main Street and 37 Park Avenue in the Village of Millerton, NY. Although the name of the funeral home has only changed twice in nearly 148 years, our commitment to being available to our local community members during their most difficult times will never change. Scott and his wife Robin and their staff of assistants are here to serve their community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The funeral home is a fine example of old world Victorian craftsmanship, with original wood mill work and mouldings, wide thresholds, spacious and tastefully decorated service rooms, handicapped-accessibility and ample street parking as well as off street parking located behind the funeral home.
